Who We Are
We are a Christ-centered church that exists to make His name praised and to make His name known.
What We Believe
God
There is one living and true God-- an intelligent, spiritual, personal Being who is Creator, Redeemer, Preserver, and Ruler of the universe. He is infinitely holy, all-powerful, and all-knowing, with perfect knowledge of all things past, present, and future, including human choices. He is worthy of our highest love, reverence, and obedience. God is eternally triune-- Father, Son, and Holy Spirit-- distinct in person, yet one in nature and essence.
The Scripture
The Holy Bible, written by divinely inspired men, is God's revelation of Himself to humanity. It is a perfect and trustworthy guide, with God as its author, salvation as its purpose, and truth without error as its content. Scripture reveals the standards by which God judges, serving as the ultimate authority for faith and conduct. It centers on Christ, who is the focus of divine revelation.
Salvation
Salvation redeems the whole person and is freely given to those who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. It includes regeneration (new birth), justification (forgiveness and right standing with God), sanctification (spiritual growth), and glorification (final eternal state), and comes through faith in Him. The Body of Christ includes all believers of every age, nation, and people.
The Church
A New Testament church is a self-governing local body of baptized believers united in faith and fellowship, observing Christ's ordinances and advancing the Gospel. Each congregation operates under Christ's lordship, with members accountable to Him, and is led by pastors and deacons, with the pastoral office reserved for men as defined by Scripture.
The church also refers to the Body of Christ, made up of all believers of every age, nation, and people. The church should prioritize making His name praised and also making His name known wherever the Lord calls us to.
